What we'll do

If you are looking for a change of scenery during a few days, you can try the Champagne region for some fly fishing.

Our experienced fishing guide, Bertrand, will take you to the "Lac de la Mouche" to practice some fly fishing for 2 to 5 days. Don't worry about your fishing experience, Bertrand will perfectly adapt to you and let you improve widely during a couple days!

This fishing spot is perfect to practice some fly fishing, with trouts that are 40 to 50 cm long. And you will have many opportunities to catch a few for these days. You will catch some fish and improve your fishing technique, but you will also learn how to read water and choose the best fishing spot, like that, you can also fish on your own once home!


• DAY 1

Arrival day

You will be welcomed in Champagne by Bertrand, and after settling in, you can choose to go for your first fishing session or relax before your fishing days.


Fly fishing sessions

You will enjoy a few days, depending on your choices, to practice fly fishing. You will fish on the banks of the rivers or by boat. He will take you to Sueurre and Blaise rivers to catch trouts. You also have the chance to fish on private paths next to the old mill.


Departure day

After a last breakfast and goodbyes, it is time for a way back home.

Where we'll go

You will be fishing in Marne, this beautiful region named by the river crossing by the area. You will find there a lot of traditions, castles, medieval cities and, of course, the world’s most famous wine: Champagne. The outdoor lovers will also find happiness with the beauty and diversity of nature nearby.

The several natural rivers of this region in the North-East of France also contributed to its reputation. Bertrand will take you to some of the most beautiful rivers in Europe that are the Marne, Rognon, Sueurre, and Blaise.

In addition to their breathtaking beauty, they harbor many trout fario specimen thanks to the careful management of the environment. Regarding the fishing, it is in The Sueurre and Blaize rivers that the fish density is higher. Because their water is fresh and transparent, discretion, precision, and animation have to be your watchwords during your fishing session.
